We really do live in a responsive universe...tapping into that power is something we can all do. In fact it is how we have been designed. The power of thought is where we need to begin. What we choose to think or place our attention on most definitely grows. It stands to reason then, that if we consistently think negatively our experiences will be rather negative...if we are fearful then that is the experience we will keep living. When we try to change our thinking many of us try to change our thoughts to what we would like to have or what we want in our life. Though this thinking seems sound, the universe is fairly literal sometimes and when we want for something we are actually given the experience of continued wanting.

Changing our thoughts may seem daunting after years of negative conditioning. Though it does require focus, it is certainly not impossible. Changing our thoughts and in turn our experiences requires excavation, observation, stillness and gratitude.

Step 1-EXCAVATE...make a list of what you would like to see in your life, affirm it in the present. For example, I Nancy am at peace. Say this list daily in the mirror. Morning is great for a fresh burst of positive thinking. What we are doing here is allowing space for those negative ideas and beliefs to surface from your subconscious. As your subconscious attunes to your new positive thinking you will begin to feel the doubt around a specific affirmation. Then make an affirmation around that doubt and out-dated belief. Once you have excavated your desires, create a dream collage of how you would like your life to be...create it with the intent that this is your life NOW. Put it up and watch the power of the universe in motion. Be sure to ask that you receive all your changes gently and slowly and for the highest good of all. Otherwise your life transformations may occur rapidly and/or chaotically.

Step 2-OBSERVE...observe your thoughts, notice how you think, at this phase as in all the others there is no judgment. Simply observe your thoughts and when you see a negative one arise cancel it and correct it with something positive. You may find yourself doing this a lot at first. If it is really strong simply create an affirmation around it and add it to your list.

Step 3-STILLNESS...be still with yourself and tune in to the power of your spirit...the power of the universe. Allow yourself space and time to trust that you will always be taken care of and the only power you need be dependent on is the power of Source, God or the Cosmos...whatever word speaks to you. It has been my experience in the past that when I ran around in fear seeking something whether that was a job, a person or place it wasn’t until I stopped and was still that whatever opportunity I had been seeking came to me. We truly are energetic forces and when we are still we allow space for new energy to come to us. Fear creates an energetic bubble around us so very little can manifest in our life.

Step 4-GRATITUDE...say thank you for every treasure you receive and be grateful for where you are and what you have in your life now. If you successfully manifested a parking spot say thank you, if you’re working on prosperity and found a quarter say thank you. These are all markers on the road of co-creation. If we don’t notice the small gifts we certainly are not yet trusting enough for the big ones. Only when we can truly appreciate what we have do we make room for more to appear. If we are always seeking more than we are sending the message that we don’t have enough. Have enough and watch the flow.

Manifestation Tips

  • Act as though you already have what you are affirming...be it.


  • Live in the Moment...we all lead busy lives with many demands on our time and planning and doing is necessary. It is important to step out of that mode once we are done thinking and doing and simply be with ourselves in the moment. Worrying about the future or the past can keep us stuck there, causing us to miss that everything is in right order now.


  • Trust that all you need shall be provided.


  • Prayer is a powerful tool...ask for help from the universe, talk to God and ask for support in addressing whatever you are moving through or working with in the moment.


  • Share yourself... time, finances, love...what you give out comes back to you.


  • Money is energy...what you spend comes back. If you are holding on tightly you are cutting off flow. Flow is how the universe functions.


  • Cinnamon Oil or Abundance essential oils is powerful for creating vibrations of attraction. Put it everywhere you would like to increase abundance. If it is time you are seeking put it on your datebook, for money place it on bankcards, checkbooks, bankbooks, for romance or domestic happiness put it on a picture that sums up your desire...be creative and use your imagination.


  • Clear clutter around your workplace and home...the more you clear the more flow can come to you.


  • Do nice things for yourself...when we do this we send the message that we are important.


  • Believe you deserve the best and treat yourself well.
